Botanical Studies
These are all from sketchbooks or on pastel papers done with either graphite or Sakura archival ink pens. These are just playing with a line. It is about figure and ground. Sometimes I am drawing the shape of the leaves and it flips over and I am drawing the space between the leaves. Just warm-up stuff you do everyday before you squeeze a tube.
